As a nomadic singer and storyteller, I love to crisscross the azure waves of archipelagos in a dugout canoe and, island hopping, explore their soundscapes. For thus resonates their common vitality, the primordial impulse of island polyphonies, so full of hope, even for the continents.

This impulse then fuels my musical journey. So that it shaped my name, like waves on pebbles: "Y" indicating a spatio-temporal openness, "M" a musical connection to nature, and "Aina" meaning "life" in the Malagasy language. Hence "Ymaïna", my Ode to Life.

So I invite you to discover it. Across the seas, sail with me to my four favorite islands. And in your turn, weave their unsuspected bonds, from banks to shores or on paths deliciously scented with jasmine and ylang-ylang. For that's how the treasure will appear to you.
